SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

Job Description:Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES :
Serves as a Solutions Architect and Technical Volume Lead/Writer in CACI’s National Services Business Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with operational personnel to develop and document proposed solutions to Federal Government requirements. Duties include the following:

  • Provides technical solutions development leadership and direction for one or more market sectors. Leads solution development for major client accounts and major proposal/project activities.
  • Provides technical solutioning expertise to identified and qualified opportunities through proposal development and delivery.
  • Develops technical solutions for both strategic and quick-turn proposals.
  • Serves as a trusted resource for strategic proposal development.
  • Support color reviews for proposal efforts not authored.
  • Keeps abreast of overall technical and business trends that
  • Executes long-term technical solution and marketing strategies. Identifies potential solutions within area of specialty and develops overall key bidding strategies.
  • Understands and responds to potential clients’ needs and objectives through the solutioning process.
  • Works in partnership with the BD Manager, the Bid PM, and the Proposal Manager as part of the proposal leadership team to provide technical leadership and guidance to proposal team from inception to completion.
  • Develops the winning solution in the capture phase and transitiond to serve as the technical lead in the proposal phase.
  • Reads, reviews, and dissects requests for proposal (RFP) in accordance with CACI proposal processes.
  • Collaborates with other CACI and teammate employees to develop compliant proposals that clearly articulate a winning strategy, compelling solutions, and substantiated themes that address RFP requirements.
  • Leverages interpersonal and interviewing skills to gather needed information from proposal team members, as well as operations personnel. Research and synthesize information from multiple sources into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final product.
  • Collaborates with proposal team members on the most effective way to present proposed approaches and solutions to include producing outlines and contributing to the content design of proposal sections. Identifies, resolves, mitigates, and escalates gaps and risks to his/her proposal manager or functional manager.
  • Reviews content for completeness, accuracy, and correctness of language use and revises the proposal to meet predetermined standards of style and accuracy.
  • Researches, analyzes, creates, documents, and shares proposal artifacts/gold standards, including proofs; awarded competitive proposals for lessons learned, reuse, and customer trending; and past performance database analysis and artifacts.
  • Oversees the work product produced by other personnel supporting proposal when serving as volume/section lead and provides qualitative feedback to progress content to compelling.

Required Qualifications :
Typically requires a bachelors degree and 12-15 years of experience.
