BAMSI’s Outpatient Counseling Center is seeking graduate level interns in the fields of Social Work, Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy .
Whitman Counseling Center: The center is committed to empowering people to achieve their full potential through a variety of therapeutic approaches. We provide services for children and adults who are experiencing difficulty in their lives due to psychiatric or emotional symptoms. Some examples of difficulties may include emotional turmoil, life crises, marital or family difficulties, substance abuse (or dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse), major mental illness, and recovery from abuse suffered in childhood, among others.
Interns will be supervised by licensed clinicians and given the opportunity to work side by side on case loads! In addition, Interns will be able to participate in billable hours.
Must be a 2nd year Master’s/Grad Level student in a clinical discipline.
