Regional Account Executive, Southeast-R

ECRI Institute is seeking an experienced sales professional to be responsible for the acute care hospital sales of ECRI Institute products and services for the Southeast region of the country. The territory includes Florida and Georgia. The ECRI product line is very successful with close to two thirds of all hospitals as customers for at least one of our many solutions. The call points are Materials Management Directors/VPs, Risk Management directors, Clinical Department administrators, network engineers, and the C-suite. The sale involves presenting a compelling value proposition and its substantiation around cost savings and quality improvements afforded our customers with access to ECRI supplied information, tools and services. The candidate that earns this position will manage a multi-million-dollar business responsible for both customer base management and new business sales generation. The successful candidate will be located in Florida.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Use a consultative sales approach to introduce, establish, and/or sustain growth of ECRI institute products and services in the acute care Hospital market;
2. Identify, qualify, and close new and existing customers consistent with established sales plans and key account targets;
3. Develop, implement, and effectively follow through with quarterly and annual strategic plans to achieve sales goals and objectives;
4. Develop and sustain strong and personable relationships with key customers in order to better address customer needs;
5. Provide feedback and information on competitive activity, changes in markets, pricing, etc.;
6. Develop and implement (along with Senior Mgt.) strategic Sales/Marketing plans at the local and national level.

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of successful medical sales/consulting experience, preferably with acute care hospital based Patient Safety, Risk and Quality departments and/or consulting company with VP/Director/C-suite call points.
Candidate must have a proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales objective and managing major accounts.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.
Approximately 50% travel. Due to the high volume of travel, the candidate must live near a major city or airport within the territory.
Bi-lingual – English/Spanish a plus.
