QUALITY ADMINISTRATION / AUDITOR

Adecco is sourcing a Quality Admin/ Auditor for a well established plastics extrusion company in Haltom City, Tx As a quality Administrator/Auditor you will be responsible for the following: Develop, administer, and maintain quality assurance procedures and activities required to ensure that company processes and procedures are compliant to customer requirements and applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements. Employ quality assurance methodologies in support of sales, tooling and development, and operations objectives. Provide drive, leadership, communication and strong analytical skills to support our mission of living a continuous improvement culture. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained. -Support ISO 9001:2008 Certification program. -Manage new product development including tooling, first article sample approval and initial production run. – Perform inspection of plastic components using Calipers and/or Optical Comparator. – Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization. – Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process. – Manage the quality of outgoing finished goods against established standards. – Develop a working relationship with vendors and customers to address quality issues. – Perform root cause analysis on product failures to identify problem and generate required corrective action. – Manage all Subsea Umbilical Projects of plastic extrusions used in Oil and Gas industry. – Ensure that a document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of the QMS. -Ensure that records are established and maintained to provide evidence that the QMS is being followed and that there is a system in place for the identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time and disposition of such records. – Ensure that the performance of the QMS is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. This review means assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the QMS. – Ensure that Quality Objectives are set by top management for measuring the performance of the QMS and that these are regularly reviewed. – Ensure that all new staff are inducted into the requirements of the QMS related to their own roles and responsibilities. Provide update training as necessary. – Ensure that all suppliers used by the organization are selected, evaluated and re- evaluated and that records of this assessment are maintained. – Ensure that top management undertakes periodic but regular assessments of customer satisfaction and that consequent improvements are identified and implemented. – Ensure that an internal audit program is adopted to verify that the QMS conforms to planned arrangements, QMS arrangements and is effectively implemented and maintained. Ensure that appropriate action is taken when this is not the case. – Analyze data on the effectiveness of the QMS and evaluate where continual improvements of the QMS can be made. This shall include data generated as a result of monitoring and measurement and from other relevant sources. -Co-ordinate continual improvements of the QMS, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed. -Understand and perform tasks described within the QMS for Management Representative duties. -Provide leadership in developing and executing the following processes; Internal Quality Audits, Third Party Audits, Corrective and Preventive Action, Management Review, Calibration, Document and Data Control, Risk Management, Quality Planning, and Control of Nonconforming Material. -Lead and facilitate continuous improvement teams. Coach, as required, to ensure problem solving and continuous improvement tools are deployed within the organization. – Customer liaison and team resource for customer qualification activities. – Specifies and maintains QC equipment to ensure conformance to customer specifications. – Regularly analyzes services provided for customers to develop new ways to better satisfy customer needs (new/different equipment, alternative work methods, improved quality/service, etc.). – Oversees technical writing projects concerning the QMS. methods. ¿ Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, written communication and computer skills ¿ 10% travel Hiring Requirements: – High School Diploma or GED. Four-year technical degree, preferred. -5+ years industrial experience. – Must have ISO 9001 experience. -Familiar with MS Office Suite and AutoCAD LT 2016. – Strong background in statistics, quality inspection methods, and inspection if you meet these qualifications- please apply directly with your resume
