Mortgage Sales Manager – Des Moines

This position is responsible for leading the mortgage sales team in meeting/exceeding sales and service goals.

Responsible for providing strategic, directional, and tactical leadership to the Mortgage Sales Team.

Responsible for working with the mortgage management team to ensure mortgage loan production meets established objectives while assuring the production meets quality standards and compliance guidelines.

Responsible for the production, operations, and performance and development of Mortgage Sales Managers and Mortgage Bankers.

Ensure Mortgage Bankers are held to the highest of standards with regard to quality – including quality of borrowers, complete loan applications, pipeline management, ethical behavior, and relationships with Bank and Mortgage Operations associates.

Set goals for each Branch Manager, ensure all Mortgage Bankers and Branches implement a comprehensive marketing plan, and ensure they accomplish the goals of their training, marketing, and production plans.

Necessary Skills and Attributes

  • 6 to 10 years sales and/or mortgage industry experience

preferred • 4 plus years direct management experience

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and direct a team loan originators
  • Proven sales experience with the ability to meet production goals
  • Experience in recruiting top talent
  • SAFE registration required at time of hire
