The Executive Administrator is committed to and models the mission, vision, policies and procedures of Norwalk Housing Authority. Consistently uses sound judgment to help manage Senior Managements time for greatest ease and effectiveness and demonstrates a thorough understanding of organizational priorities. Influences effective relationships and purposeful communication between NHA management and staff, public and private organizations and the Board of Directors. Plans, organizes and prepares correspondence, reports and presentations and ensures accuracy and timeliness. Demonstrates strong organizational awareness and maintains comprehensive knowledge of all Norwalk Housing Authority operations and programs. College degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in business or related field; minimum 5 years administrative experience. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point and; proven ability to learn new systems and software.
