Benefits Administrator Temp

Our client in Montgomery County, MD is seeking a Benefits Administrator. This role is projected to go through the end of the year.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for Benefit related items, Vendors and Third Party Administrators
  • The Benefits Administrator assists with Welfare group plans including; trouble shooting, compliance, benefit renewals, audits, leave of absence, open enrollment and communicating with vendors and brokers as necessary
  • The Benefits Administrator manages day to day Performance Management including; coaching, monitoring processes, objectivity, compliance and fairness, managing procedures, document management, HRIS system management, and employee relations
  • The Benefits Administrator will evaluate jobs and bench-marking for the creation and updating of position descriptions and ensure compliance with FLSA

Qualifications:

  • Degree or HR Certification preferred
  • 3+ years Benefits experience
  • 1+ year experience in creating job descriptions
  • 2+ years of HRIS/Payroll software knowledge–ADP experience preferred
  • Experience with Communication and coaching
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State regulations
  • Ability to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures and regulations
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, proficient with Excel
  • Knowledge of Performance Management practices and procedures
  • Proficient in math/statistics skills
  • Strong ability to lead/train others
  • Benefits Administration experience
  • HRIS experience
  • Payroll experience
