Art Instructor afterschool 1-2 per day Eastside

PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE APPLYING. Do you have experience handling a group of kids? Are you interested in art education? Young Rembrandts is looking for mature, RESPONSIBLE teachers to join our team of talented people teaching drawing classes after school 1-2 hours per day on the eastside of El Paso. We provide the curriculum, training, supplies and location.

Responsibilities include:

-Be at location on time

-Call attendance

-Follow curriculum

-Be able to motivate students

-Talk with parents and administrators

Classes generally start between 2:45 and 3:30 and are 60 minutes long. This is ONLY 1-2 hours per day job, 2 – 4 afternoons per week. This is an ideal job for individuals wanting to gain teaching experience, have supplemental income and a working in a rewarding job. However, If you do not have availability on 2 CONSISTENT weekdays (For example: every Tuesday and Thursday or every Monday and Tuesday NOT FRIDAYS) each week starting at 2:30 PM – this is not the right opportunity for you. Location is also very important. You need to live on east side of town.

Requirements:

– Experience handling group of kids (more than 5)

– Love and understanding of art

-Good at following directions

– Reliable and Responsible

– Own transportation and car insurance
