The Aeronautical Engineer is responsible for design, analysis, and verification of aircraft systems. The Aeronautical Engineer applies industry standard techniques in support of aircraft / design & modification programs, develops methods & procedures for aircraft / external loads generation, & supports aircraft / military and FAA flight test programs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Determination of aircraft open loop stability and control characteristics and handling qualities
Experienced with aerospace guidance and control systems
Determination of control architecture and control system stability, robustness and redundancy
Additional tasks may include aerodynamics coordination with multi-discipline teams including modification teams, logistics support, and other engineering disciplines
Perform data reduction and correlation of flight and ground test data to mathematical models.
Plan and participate in certification / qualification testing and reporting
Articulate formal design reviews and present design data to external and internal customers.
Experience and familiarity showing compliance to the requirements of 14 CFR Part 23, Part 25, MIL-HDBK-516B and MIL-STD-1797B is required.
Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours

Requires a BS in Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline, with 10+ years of experience:
Candidate shall have advanced experience with MATLAB, Simulink, C++, FORTRAN, and CATIA.
